Rum Island Retreat is nestled in the verdant Florida woodlands with close access to the Santa Fe River at Rum Island Park and Springs. We are now accepting rental reservations with a minimum stay of two nights. Afternoon check-in is 3:00 PM, and morning check-out is 11:00 AM. (If the cabin is available, you may check-in earlier and check-out later.) The beautifully furnished cabin sleeps a maximum of 9, with a recommendation of six adults and three children. Sleeping accommodations include 6 single beds, 1 full futon bed and 1 chair bed. See the Floor Plan.
A Higher Place at Rum Island Retreat is the perfect spot to meditate and hold intimate spiritual events. Small weddings and reunions are being booked, and honeymooners claim it is a quiet, romantic spot, secluded and private. Please contact us for more details.

Our newly renovated Bath House (see photos) is available for larger groups of 8 or more and for your special events like family reunions and retreats. Please contact us for pricing.
Camping for extra group or family members is available, provided that you have booked the cabin to capacity. For group events or more information about camping and facilities, contact Wanda 386-454-9818 or 321-432-1743.
A deposit of 50% down plus a $300 security deposit (see below) is due upon making reservations. The balance is due 3 days BEFORE check-in. Security deposit will be subtracted from your remaining balance after checkout.
Minimum of three weeks prior to scheduled arrival. Or at least one month in advance if staying during a holiday. Cancellation fee: $50.00. Sorry, If cancellation is necessary, no refunds on deposit will be made later than 5 days after booking, but you may apply your deposit to a future reservation.
Rum Island Retreat is a no-smoking residence. Please smoke outside. Small dogs under 15 pounds allowed with $50 fee for a 2-night stay. Extra fees may apply for more days. Pets are NOT allowed upstairs.
Release of Liability, Physical Injury Form
This form will be included in your self mail-in packet and email confirmation. Your signature and those of your guests will be necessary before your arrival date. Please, if possible, email it back with the Reservations Acceptance Agreement and security deposit. Email firstname.lastname@example.org. You may sign for your guests, with their agreement, however, you will be responsible for them.
A security Deposit of $300.00, along with your Rental Deposit, is required at booking and will be charged to your credit card. If you mail a check to us, 300.00 will be credited after you check out, provided everything is in place and not damaged. Should there be damage or missing items that exceeds $300.00, the actual repair or replacement costs may be charged to your credit card.
